When I'm not at work, I like walking, swimming and yoga. I have three adult children and one adult foster son, plus a  foster daughter in law and foster grandchildren 🤩! .

I love my work. I believe in what I do and I’m very excited and proud to be part of Ivy House Fostering Agency.❤❤

Hello I'm Joanne Nutton. I have always worked with children and young people, I have been a nanny for new born triplets, worked in a day nursery and then in Local Authority children’s services as a support worker for many years before I qualified as a social worker.

I have spent 17 years as a social worker in a Local Authority fostering team and my passion is working with children, young people and fostering families and plan to continue to do this for many years with Ivy House Fostering Agency.

I am an owner/operator at Ivy House, we have a small welcoming team where everyone is valued for the individual qualities that they bring and is an exciting place to work.

In my spare time I love baking, yoga and holidays!

Hanna Kerry

Before joining Ivy House, I worked for a Local Authority for 21 years. My passion has always been working with children and families where I have had roles as a youth worker and in front line child protections teams. In addition, I spent several years fostering for the Local Authority.

I love my job ay Ivy House, working with such an amazing team and bunch of foster carers who truly want the best outcomes for all our children within the agency.

Andrea Combes

Hi, I’m Andrea Combes.  I have been a Qualified Social Worker for 22 years, before this I cared for children in residential home settings.

My first Social Work role was in a Children’s Disability Team where I undertook Children in Need, Looked After Children and Child Protection duties.  From there I went to work at the NSPCC for 12 years as a Therapeutic Practitioner, helping children to recover from abuse.  I then moved to work within a Therapeutic Team for a Local Authority, specialising in support for Foster Carers and Looked After Children.

I am eager to bring my experience and enthusiasm for all things therapeutic to the Ivy House Team.   I am committed to supporting children to overcome their difficult starts in life and I believe that Foster Carers are key to this.   Through their care of and relationships with the children, Foster Carers can help children begin to feel safe in the world and trust again.

Outside of work I am a Mum of 3 and I enjoy strength training, dancing and time with good friends 😍
